11th February 2019

Queue has now some more posting schedules added into it. New ones are 8, 6 and 4 posts a day.

As you might have noticed we are constantly tweaking the search. Reason for this is that we're using actually a proper search engine and thanks to that we're optimizing and bringing new features into it. To help you finding out the content you're looking for, we have added the possibility to search the newest posts as well, you can do that by tapping on "Show Newest" on the posts nav bar.

Fixes:
- In some cases captions and text post fonts did not encode correctly, fixed
- Notes count was displayed incorrectly in Archive at some cases, fixed

10th February 2019

We have updated our support system to a proper ticket based helpdesk which enables us to handle support request much more effeciently. In case you have not heard back from us in few days, please do drop us a line again and we will get back to you. We have had multiple answers bouncing back as the email address in question has not been valid.

10th February 2019

Latest received likes, reblogs and new followers are now added into the activity feed. We will be optimizing this in the coming days as there might be duplicates in some cases, however we will monitor and fix the issues.

We're currently looking into issues with the captions not being retained for tumblr improted text posts, fix coming as soon as possible.

9th February 2019

You can now allow new messages only from those blogs who you are following. To enable this feature, navigate into your settings and make sure "Allow Messages from Friends Only" is checked and save. That's it. Please note that all the previous conversations you have open will continue to work even though you are not following them.

9th February 2019

If you don't want to receive Asks from anonymous users, you can navigate to your settings: Click on that little human icon on top menu, select settings and tap off the check box about the anonymous asks plus press save.

That's all, you won't be receiving asks from anonymous users after that.

8th February 2019

You can now ask questions from other users anonymously or with your blog name. Asks can be answered publicly (the answer is published as a post to blog which also can be reblogged and commented by others), or privately when only the user sending the ask will get a reply (as long as the ask is not send anonymously, anonymous asks can only be replied publicly)

You can send asks both by side blogs on front page (click the question mark icon on top menu while viewing someone's blog) or by clicking "Ask" link on personal blogs (blogname.bdsmlr.com).

When you someone sends you an ask, you will see a counter displayed on front page's top menu over the question mark icon.
Simply click that icon in order to proceed and answer.

Any feedback, suggestions, bug reports, please send them our way!

7th February 2019

You can now retain tags in the reblog while reblogging if you'd like to do so. Simply navitage into your settings (click that little human icon on top menu and select settings). If you'd like to retain them, check the "Retain Tags while reblogging" and click save, that's it).

6th February 2019

We're finishing up with the Ask system development and should be done with it in max few days. This feature has been asked a lot, so we're bringing it on board. Another what has been asked more than often is retaining tags from the original post while reblogging, we have added tags to reblogs now.

Queue has also gotten multiple updates under the hood

Import tool has been EXTREMELY popular and there unfortunately is quite the queue for it at the moment. Please remain patient with it, we're processing the them as quickly as possible. You can also always view the status of your import by visiting the import tool page again.

4th February 2019

Search is now offering blogs matching the keyword directly as well. We will be optimizing it in the coming days. To do a blog search only click the "View all blogs" button on the right side of the "Blogs" menubar.

2nd February 2019

We got some reports about the liked posts being difficult to notice at times with only the outline turning red. From now on the whole heart icon turns to red when the post is liked making the usability better for those who have had trouble spotting the difference.

Every post now has a permalink which you can access by clicking the 3 dots icon on the footer of the post. Reporting function is now also transferred to same menu.

Fixes:
- Captions in image and video types on queue posts were not showing up properly, fixed
- Notes were not always displaying correctly with Responsive theme, fixed
- When canceling a queue image / video post, already uploaded content stayed despite cancellation, fixed

1st February 2019

We have rolled out multiple updates for the reblogging queue system today. New notes system is now added into other public blog themes and archive as well.

We have had plenty of feedback about the new queue and have made changes (and of course fixes). Most notably the post order has been changed to newest first (the post being published next from the queue is going to be the last one).

Search function is currently indexing for the improvised search results. This can take up to a few days (yep, the amount of data is getting quite huge). We will update when done.

Blog search got a fix as well, in some cases the blog results were no shown.

What is coming next?

Next bigger feature is going to be asks. It's already under development and goes live in not too distant future. If you have ideas about the ask system you'd like us to consider, please let us know. As always we're more than happy to hear ideas and suggestions!

31st January 2019

Reblogging posts to your queue added. This feature works in the front page and sideblogs (or whole page view if you're using a mobile device) at the moment. We will be adding it to other pages such as archive and blogname.bdsmlr.com very soon as well. And as always, please give us feedback and report possible issues to us. Thank you!

30th January 2019

Soon you will be able to add reblogs into the queue as well. Search will get an update soon as well (search terms not finding new material properly with certain keywords at the moment). We will update when done.

28th January 2019

New queue is out. We built the whole queue system from the scratch, meaning you're now able to queue up any type of post type you'd like to. For now, queue is running with the same time setting but after it has been stress tested a bit we will be adding more publishing times into it.

27th January 2019

We're running the final tests for the new queue and it is out very soon. Queue is going to have huge changes and it's going to include all the post types with full editing possibilities. It has been a huge task but we're finally pretty much there.

Search is going to get some optimization done next. We have got reports that in some cases not all the tagged posts can be found.

Next big feature is going to be Asks. We will start the work with it as soon as we have finished Queue and checked out the search.

Fixes:
- In some cases the editions to Responsive Theme didn't take hold, fixed
- Reblogged videos were not working in some views, fixed

Investigating:
One of the video storage servers is having issues playing every video, fix coming ASAP

25th January 2019

Indexing for content search is now finished. Search now functions both with exact tags and with search patterns so you can do an actual search with multiple words. We will be fine tuning it's settings in the coming days.

The new version of the queue: We're aiming to get it released Saturday, latest Sunday.

Fixes:
- Infinite scrolling for blogs with Responsive Theme was inconsistent. Fixed

24th January 2019

We rolled out an update to speed up the search (as the site has grown it started to get quite slow), we went from very basic search functions to a proper search engine which not only is quick, but also delivers much better results. We will be tweaking it in the coming days as it gathers data.

Search database is currently indexing, meaning it's gathering all the info in order to be able to deliver results correctly, this might lead into some occasional errors while the indexing is running.

23rd January 2019

We're in the process of updating the queue, we aimed for the release early this week but unfortunately had to concentrate into site's backend instead. This has pushed the development back a bit, however new queue should go live in a couple of days.

Another extremely requested feature has been asks. Right on then, it's going to be the next bigger feature getting added. Today, we have also made multiple bug fixes here and there and continued the optimization with performance. The processing power on servers has now finally enough in the tank to be able to deal with possible future spikes without us needing to jump into taking care of them even if they're big ones. We did it now so that we can concentrate into development in the future and being able to guarantee much better performance for the platform.

Once again, we'd like to remind you about the content. Please do not post material which includes minors / zoophilia or is mentioned as forbidden content in our Terms. We unfortunately have to delete such posts and which is even more unfortunate, in clear cases ban the blogs posting such material and trust us, we really don't want to so please be mindful of such content.

Thank you for reading and many thanks for being here!

22nd January 2019

We have finished with the updates to backend. We did very big changes to load balancers and storage system to ensure the future scalability and performance. Unfortunately we had to have a little downtime as well due to switch, apologies about that. We are also able to process the queues at much faster rate now. More than 3x than before.

22nd January 2019

We're working on backend to stabilize the site under the current traffic. We will update when done. In the meantime site might be unresponsive and have short downtime at some points during the optimization.

21st January 2019

We had very high traffic spike today causing the site to be unresponsive for about an hour or so. We took action and we're scaling up.

Also multiple fixes to themes with the editor's colors not showing correctly in some cases in blog, we have also kept tuning the comment / notes system thanks to your feedback. Thank you to you all for giving some!

New notes system should also be in all personal blogs still today.

About imports. Import tool has been hugely popular and there is quite the queue for the blogs to get processed at the moment. We're speeding this up by adding more handlers so that the queue advances faster.

20th January 2019

Notes system just got a complete remake. Notes are now scrollable, reblog's comments are displayed (from reblogs done starting today) and you can also simply just comment without the need to reblog. Comments do have @mention system as well. So if you mention another blog via @blogname, that blog is notified about it and comment includes link into their blog as well.

New note system works now on dashboard, activity, while viewing your own posts and in sideblog. We are currently adding it to all pages and it will be soon used sitewide.

We had to do quite big changes due to this change, so notes counters are off for now especially on older posts, we will fix this in the coming days.

We will be expanding the comments system in the future and as always, please give us feedback and do note us about the possible bugs / issues so we can look into them and fix.

19th January 2019

Imports are processing at steady pace, if you use the import tool now it will be processed in the next 24 hours (at current state). We're also constantly speeding the process up (allowing more blogs to be processed at the same time) while monitoring the situation that everything runs steadily, then raising the limits.

If you uploaded your blog early yesterday but you don't see any new posts in your blog, please make sure that you uploaded the posts.xml file in it's original format (do NOT edit the file or change it's format, otherwise the import tool will fail!)

Work for the better Queue posting (no, not the import tool's queue, but posts you post into your queue) is well on way and we hope to get it published very soon.

We have also had tons of feedback about requests for comment system into the post notes in posts, it's currently under work as well and will go live possibly already today.

Fixes:
- Multiple fixes to side blogs and personal blogs where selected colors for the blog were not showing up correctly

19th January 2019

We had a little downtime thanks to the problem on the server hall. Unfortunately this was completely out of our hand and all we could do was to wait for the issue to get fixed. Everything's running smoothly again!

18th January 2019

Text posts are now imported from your blog with the import tool as well, we got tons of feedback about them and they're now included.

Next step is completely remade queue with the possibility to reblog into the queue as well. We're currently working on it.

Bug fixes: Looking for a fix for the cases where the image order is not the same as you set in the upload.

17th January 2019

You can now import your blog from tumblr. Simply head to Tumblr Importer (click here) and follow the instructions to do so. You will need to backup your blog via tumblr's website first.

What will be imported?
Images and photosets (photosets will be created into one post, just like they were in tumblr), posts will be tagged with the same tags as well. Other post types include tumblr's own code in them which makes it very difficult for our editor to be compatible with them. However if there is a great need for photo / quote posts, please let us know and we will look into it.

Any problems or questions about the import tool, contact us and we're happy to help!

Update: We got immediately plenty of feedback about text posts needing to be imported as well, understood. We will add them to import tool as well, estimation few days.

16th January 2019

Update about what we have been doing. We have been working hard to finaally get the tumblr importer live and should get there tomorrow.

14th January 2019

When you visit someone's personal blog ("blogname".bdsmlr.com) with mobile devices. It's now more optimized for your device and everything is more responsive, making it a much more better experience to use.

13th January 2019

Fixes:
- Editing did not work in some cases, fixed
- Like buttons now more responsive on mobile (we will update the public blogs "blogname".bdsmlr.com with more responsive design today as well)

12th January 2019

New feature. Easily access and view newest likes, reblogs and followers by clicking the lightning bolt icon on the top menu. You can scroll them to the very beginning of your activity feed as well. This makes it much easier to keep track what's happening with your followers!

We are also getting lots of questions about commenting posts without the need to reblog. Yes, it will be coming when we are giving a complete remake for the whole notes section. We will get into it after the new queue has been finished (by the way, the new queue is including the possibility to draft and reblog to the queue)

12th January 2019

Image load speed on site (how quickly they are loading)
As we are preparing for the tumblr importer tool and making massive changes to the storage system, unfortunately the image serving speed can be quite unresponsive until we get it done. Our apologies about that, things should be back to normal latest Tuesday.

11th January 2019

We know many of you have been waiting for it and we have some news about the Android App. Development has been started this week and we will update when we have more info. As it stands we really can't give any estimate but we will inform immediately when we got some news.

We're also working on queue remake. It's estimated to be done early next week. And yes, we're aiming to publish the Tumblr importer beginning of next week as well.

We have also made multiple bug fixes and have dealt with multiple spambot networks which have found their way to here from that other place plus added multiple safeguards to keep them out, we will be also constantly monitoring and adding to those safeguards so they stay out. If you see any kind of spam in your followers or chat messages, drop our support a line and we will deal with it immediately.

Unfortunately at times the images are downloading slowly at the moment, this is due to massive changes in order for us to create a proper storage capacity. Please bear with us for few days and it will all be back to normal again.

Changes:
- Logout button now moved to under the top menu (opens from that little "human" icon)
- Viewing Dashboard (front page) per page can now be enabled so that you can always come back to that page where you were in case you visit some other view.

Go to your settings, enable "Page numbers on Dashboard (No Infinite Scroll)" and click save. Now you will be seeing page numbers when you reach the bottom of the page instead of page scrolling down automatically.

9th January 2019

We figured out a way to get tumblr importer to work 100%. What is needed is that you export your blog from tumblr first.

We have been working on it all this time (just like we promised) and we expect to get it up and running next week. Before we launch it, we also have to expand our storage capacity (yep, there's going to be tens of terabytes of content heading our way so we got to prepare for that) and that timetable is possibly pushed forward a bit, but it's here soon!

8th January 2019

Fixes:
- In some cases the posts were missing from the feed while scrolling down. This is now fixed.
- Message counter was not substracting read message from the count in real-time, fixed.
- Reblogs were not working while viewing only own blog posts, fixed
- Increased the amount of message history while opening new message, scrolling up to see the whole message history coming up soon

7th January 2019

Editing text posts functions with the new editor now as well. You can edit the post as you wish, including adding more images into it. And best part is that when editing, all reblogged posts will show your edits as well. So even if you made a typo or any mistake in your original post, you can now easily fix that so that it shows up in reblogged posts as well.

6th January 2019

This was one feature requested by many and it's now added. We decided to use Open Source editor called SummerNote. It's easy to use yet feature rich editor which is a huge improvement compared to previous one. There are plenty of authors and writers among you, so please give us feedback about it and it's functions. As always, we're listening.

Important note! Editing text posts with the new editor is not yet implemented. It will be done tomorrow.

6th January 2019

Answer time from our support can unfortunately be quite long at the moment, reason is that we're simmply said, getting swamped. We get literally thousands of messages per day and our small team is unable to cope with it at the moment. We're brining in new people to deal with the situation and the situation will get resolved when they're starting to get familiar with the system and up to speed.

There's also PLENTY of support requests where we answer and the message bounces back, meaning that you have made a typo while giving out your details for the email address. If you have not received an answer in 3 days, PLEASE send us a new support ticket and check the e-mail field so we can get back to you!

We have been working on shining out the new chat system and fixing some little glitches especially for Android and iOS yesterday and today. We're also in process of replacing the Text Post editor so that you can attach images into it while posting and giving you a lot more freedom to customize the post into your liking. We hope to get this feature up and running tonight.

We got lots of feedback about the full page messenger and users wanting it back. Alrighty then, we heard loud and clear. We'll be bringing it back once we have made it compatible with the new chat system.

Changes:
- After blocking someone they will not show up in your followers list anymore
- Videos have now a poster set up based to starting frame

Most Notable Fixes:
- When viewing a blog in activity some buttons were not working with certain devices / browsers, fixed
- Activity had duplicate entries on followers at somme cases, fixed
- Likes were not disappearing after unliking while viewing liked posts, fixed
- Post buttons now working properly while viewing your own blog posts

4th January 2019

The messaging system is now updated. It has multiple bug fixes compared to previous version. Our goal was to make it much more usable both on mobile and desktop devices plus add easily the most asked feature: Private photo sharing.

So, You can now share images privately by clicking the camera icon on the bottom of the chat box, selecting the image to upload and finally confirming it by the arrow icon.

How it works? Simply click the speech bubble on the top menu and you will get list of conversations you have had. Click one and you're good to go. If you'd like to ban the other person / clear the messages / delete the whole conversation you can do that by clicking that three dots icon and selecting the option you need.

We simplified the design for the usability. One upcoming feature for the chat which we did not implement yet is the post sharing but that will be added into it soon as well.

The full page messenger (from the envelope) is dropped for now. It was not used pretty much at all. However if you'd like to make a come back, please let us know and we will do that.
Chat is also tested with multiple devices and tried to iron out the kinks, but if you're having any kind of issues with it, please contact us and we will look into it immediately!

2nd January 2019

No, we have not forgotten it and yes. It will be coming in the future. We simply have to make it 100% sure that it works in every case. Tumblr has unfortunately made their API access very restricted for NSFW blogs and they have also restricted the functionalities of their API as well which makes it extremely challenging.
However, we haven't given up on it.

We have also made multiple small fixes under the hood today and are processing well with new chat. It should be live in a couple of days (more than likely sooner than that). It will be huge update especially for mobile device users and biggest new feature is going to be the ability to send private photos in chats.

1st January 2019

Fixes:
- Activity got the side blogs as well. If you click the name of liker / follower / reblogger you can view that blog on the same page instead of opening a new tab to their personal blog
- Likes are now listed in order you liked them, latest first
- Activity should not show your own reblogs (happened in some cases before)

Upcoming updates in next couple of days:
- Completely remade chat with private photo sharing and post sharing
- Much more better text editor with the possibility to add images into the text posts
- Complete remake of a queue with much better publish timings and the possibility to reblog into the queue

And that reminder we mentioned about:

We unfortunately have to ban some blogs due to illegal content every day. Once again we can't stress enough how important this is:

DO NOT POST CONTENT WHICH INCLUDES MINORS, ZOOPHILIA OR ANY OTHER CONTENT MENTIONED AS NOT ALLOWED IN OUR TOS!

If you have any doubt please feel free to contact us, we're happy to help. But we simply have to react to such material immediately in order to make sure there will be no trouble. We understand that at times it might not be easy to notice especially in DD/LG blogs, but we have no choice. If you post such material you're putting this whole website at risk (and possibly facing some serious consequences yourself as well). World changes and so do laws.

So yep, it is important for you as well. Do not ignore this warning.

Before you post, please think twice is there a doubt about the age, no matter if it's a cartoon, drawing or a real image.

Now, plenty of you have been asking can I put my link to sites such as ManyVids, we have now gotten the confirmation and the answer is yes you can as long as you only point to site where you're selling 100% legal content you have produced yourself.
So, ManyVids is allowed. It has been the site we have been asked most. Any other similar sites you'd possibly like to mention in your posts, please contact us and we'll figure it out.

Many thanks for reading!

1st January 2019

Our live message delivery and notification system decided to take a break at 00:00 clock when year changed, it is back up running again and processing all the queued messages. Chat and notifications back are back on track in a few minutes after the queue is processed.

Update 31st December 2018

We have tons of new features to come in 2019, new completely remade chat being the first big thing with much more friendlier UI and the possibility to send private messages and share posts, followed by Android App. We're just getting started, so once again. Happy New Year!

Update 31st December 2018

We did huge changes on the back end, which simply said means the site should be a lot faster now. This unfortunately caused some downtime but it had to be done, apologies about that.

Some older iDevices were also having trouble with certain buttons and links. We have done tons of changes to get rid of these issues, but if you're still having troubles using iPads or iPhones please contact us with details and we'll look into it immediately.

Update 29th December 2018

We just released a feature which makes navigating the site much more easier especially with mobile devices!

When you click an avatar, blog name or comment on front page, that blog will now open to the right side (on desktops) or as a full page (on mobile)
Not only this is way quicker to browse blogs, it's also much more lighter for every device out there. If you still wish head to that blog directly, simply click on their name on the left top corner.

If you're having _any_ issues with this feature, please do send us feedback via our contact page!

Update 28th December 2018

We have had yet another traffic spike today, so we have been working to get site running on acceptable level again. At the moment we're pretty much there and most functions and pages should be much more responsive again.

Apart from that, we're also working on features to make site much more user friendly with mobile devices, especially the way you can view the blogs from your dashboard. This will make the usability a much more pleasurable experience and we estimate to get it live in the next 24 hours.

Fixes:
- Multiple fixes to Responsive and Default templates which caused some issues on mobile phones
- Multiple fixes to archive, most notably the posts not linking correctly to the full version
- Frontpage speed optimizations
- Suggestions, advertisement and random likes are now entirely based to your preferences that you set on your "Edit Blog" settings

Update 27th December 2018

We have just made multiple fixes for the chat. In some cases messages were not seen by the receiver if the sender deleted the chat from their chat list, also counter got an update and it should now show only the messages you have not read, if you're still having such issues with the chat please drop our support a line and we will look into it immediately.

We're also hard at work creating new features which will make the site much more easier to navigate with mobile devices, we hope to get them live in few days.

Update 26th December 2018

Pretty much immediately when we got the blocking system live we got tons of feedback that when you're blocking someone, you should not see the posts from the person you're blocking neither.

So, we listened and did just that. If you have already blocked someone but their posts show up, please remove that block via "Blocked Users" tab on your top menu (can be found under that little "human" icon on top menubar), then proceed to block that user again to hide their posts from you as well.

Update 25th December 2018

You can now block those users you want to. Simply head into their personal blogs and click the block icon from the top menu (that little round circle between the home and follow / unfollow).

After doing so they are unable to see your posts anywhere on the site (even if someone else has reblogged them and they follow the person doing the reblog) nor see your posts / your blog via search neither.

Should you decide to unblock them, you can find the blocked users listing via top menu under "Blocked Users" where you see everyone you have blocked and unblock them as well.

Update 23rd December 2018

Many thanks for being here and being patient with us while we're smoothing out the rough edges on the site corner by corner, there's lots more to come and we're just getting started. Optimizing the back end (that boring geeky stuff with servers and code for many) starts to be over so that the site is on stable grounds even if the traffic continues growing, so we can really start to put all our efforts into fixes and future features. So thank you!

We have also had so much great feedback (both positive and negative. Both are most welcomed), requests and suggestions and we're really happy about it. It helps us to understand what you, the users want from our platform and into which direction to take it.

Changes:

- While reblogging, the reblog window will automatically scroll to bottom

Fixes:
- Note link was not working on some post types in personal blogs, fixed.
- Top menu was at times slow to load, loadup time reduced considerably.

Update 22nd December 2018

We have been concentrating on doing some performance improvements on the backend and getting rid of some tiny annoying bugs and clunky interface functions (slowly responsive buttons etc) today. We also made changes to themes so that the cover photo is displayed bit better. It's not perfect yet, we know. But further updates are coming

There has also been plenty of requests about the blocking system and we're starting to create this feature tomorrow. It should be added within few working days (we actually thought to take a little breather in the Christmas for at least a day apart from making sure site runs ok and going through the reports.)

So far we have honestly been working pretty much every hour we have not slept :).

We understand this is much needed feature and will listen when something like that is needed, so it will be coming very soon!

Update 2 21st December 2018

We're optimizing the performance for the like, follower, followed and post counters. In the meantime while upgrade is running numbers may seem off.

Update 21st December 2018

Site had a problem for the duration of about 10 minutes posting new images for some users, fixed and we're making sure it won't happen again. Apologies about that!

Update 2 20th December 2018

Updated
We have had to take action in multiple cases where there has been minors, zoophilia, gore or hints to prostitution involved. PLEASE make sure that you do not post content which includes any of those, no matter if it is nothing sexual, we do NOT allow it.

This is EXTREMELY important as by doing so you are putting the WHOLE site at risk. We will take immediate action in those cases Banning you and deleting everything you have posted immedately. We have no other option than to do so.
If you're unsure about the legal age in something you're posting, DO NOT POST IT!

Many thanks for reading.

Fixes:
- When post is liked, it shows up in reblogs now as well
We're currently tuning up the servers. This does lead to some error pages at times, apologies about that. We have to do this while servers are under stress so we get the values correct with the growth.

Update 20th December 2018

Multiple users have reported that they're having new messsages shown even though they don't have any new ones so we did a fix. Now the counter is zeroed after you click the speech bubble ont he right bottom corner and open chat windows.

Update 2 19th December 2018

Since site started to slow down again today, we added more servers to our server farm (yes, there starts to be quite a few of them).

Update 19th December 2018

Fixed:
- Follow button works now properly while searching other blogs
- Followers view and Activity view got updates and some glitch fixes, now easier to navigate especially for mobile phone users.

Update 19th December 2018

This has been more than asked feature so we added it. You can now change your blog's name via settings. Simply click that little "human" icon on top menu, select settings and go ahead, take your pick!

Update
- Image uploads are functioning normally again (had some slowness earlier).

Update 18th December 2018

Uploads may take a bit to process, we're currently optimizing the storage servers to handle this better. Be patient!

Update 18th December 2018

Issue with the missing photos starts to be over. Apologies about that, we had to do server to server file transfer for one storage server as all those terabytes of images which have been uploaded was simply said slowing things down. While that transfer was ongoing we had to compromise a bit so we could free enough bandwidth to pull the files into another server. If you're uploading new image files it might take a while for the image to be processed due to this, so please be patient while uploading (especially big gif).

We also did updates to login and sessions for site performance reasons, that is why you found yourself logged out today. We are having steady growth again today, but coping well.

Fixes:
- Editing the description and adding tags got multiple glitches fixed
- Comments, we got plenty of wishes to make text more readable, we did just that and also changed the look a bit so they are more clearly separated and easier to follow
- When using preview of a blog (hovering over their icon if you're on a device with a mouse in it), the follow button and the responsiveness of it was mildly said, slow. This has been fixed now
- Reblogging is now much more responsive, we're making further optimizations to it to ensure even quicker functionality.

Update 2 17th December 2018

Update 2 17th December 2018

Performance should start to stabilize soon.

Once again scaling up to match the traffic and to ensure the responsiveness! Yes. We know site is slow, spike today has been unbelievable even though we ensured we would have MUCH resources for the future spikes, guess not. We will update after we get the upgrades done.

We're making an emergency fix with photo servers and some images might not appear at the moment. This might slow site a little bit for the next few hours, apologies about that and thank you from your patience everyone!

Fixes:
- Personal Blog edit and delete had some problems for some users, you can now find edit / delete behind the cog icon in the footer of every post
- We went through the edit / delete on public blogs.
Known problem we're currently fixing:
- Slow speeds thanks to relocation of some files on the web server
- Some posts won't show up while reblogging (images are not loading correctly), this is due to an emergency transfer to new CDN. Back to normal ASAP

New feature:
- You can now turn off the Activity notifications about likes and reblogs from your settings. Simply uncheck the "Like and Reblog Notifications" checkbox and click save if you wish to do that.

Update 2 16th December 2018

Upgrades done and things should start to get back towards better performance. We are also continuing to do plenty of fixes and optimizations under the hood.

Update 16th December 2018

Yesterday we pretty much doubled our resources for the traffic. What happened today? Well, it more than doubled. So we're back to adding more resources into the engine room!
Updates coming when done.

Update 16th December 2018

We're currently setting up Content Delivery Network (CDN) for the site. This might cause the loading speed to drop for a while. Update coming when done!

Update 2 15th December 2018

Site should be much more responsive again, we are currently optimizing to speed it up even further. As it is we have much more potential in the reserves for the future as well.

And as many of you have more than likely noticed, site now has one advertisement.
Why? Simply said the amount of resources these huge traffic spikes have caused have forced us to get some ad revenue so we can keep scaling up comfortably. We will aim to keep advertisement non aggressive (meaning it does not bother you that much at all) and of course use only clean ads. While we're all good when it comes to resources to run the site, we'd like the site to make at least some of it so we can continue on stable grounds and continue to scale up (add more processing power) if needed while having comfortable buffer in resource use so we can concentrate into development instead. Feedback is of course welcomed and we will listen!

Fixed
- Likes in Archive now work as supposed to (didn't turn to red when liked at times while the like registered)
- Fixes to Default theme header (cover photo didn't hide in some cases)

Update 15th December 2018

The rise in traffic has been simply said insane today. We're currently setting up new servers to up the performance.

Update 14th December 2018

Yet again we're scaling up. No matter how much server power we put behind the site, it all seems to be rising to it's limits in no time, so we're having an extremely huge traffic spike again and reacting to it.

On the coding side of things, today we have been concentrating mainly into the report system (that little triangle on the bottom of every post) as this is hugely important. It has already proved it's worth multiple times, thank you to everyone who has reported posts which do not belong here! (illegal material breaking our TOS). We're also starting to add it into personal blogs at the moment.

Fixes:
- Responsive theme didn't display correct title and dscription at times, fixed
- Queued posts were not published correctly, fixed
- Cover photo was missing for some users, fixed

Update 12th December 2018

Our servers are definitely begging for mercy again (nope, they're not getting any though) today. We have broken all the records by mile again, so we're working on scaling up once more.

Fixed issues:

- Changes to the default blog theme layout which caused everything to be tiny on mobile devices
- Huge GIF based avatars caused long load times due to their size
- Image size scaling on multiple pages to improve the performance
- Problem with changing email address in settings fixed
- Optimizations to reblogs from personal blogs (was extremely slow on mobile devices)

Update 2 11th December 2018

Ok!

We got the TOS stuff pretty much figured out and will be updating it with details (and examples) very soon. Now we can continue our efforts into site development again! This caused a little slower period in updates and support (and yes, we know. Site has been on a slow side today since we were not constantly monitoring, optimizing and reacting. Traffic rising today quite a lot again). But we're back to it!

Fixed issues:
- Deleted original posts reblogs caused empty posts in public blogs in some cases
- Descriptions to queue posts were not saving in most cases

We are working on:
- Fixes for the for the queue timing frequency
- Some issues in personal blog views, notably editing / reblogging / liking / deleting
- Activity feed not showing correctly for some users
- Tumblr importer still on the works. (Yes, we really want to bring it to you guys, you've been requesting it and we are trying to deliver)

Update 10th December 2018

Please read (yes, all of it, it really is important)
As our site has grown immensely in this past week, today we have put our attention into legal matters (simply said, making sure that we comply with every possible law that is required) today.

While pretty much everything needed is already in our TOS, the recently signed SESTA and FOSTA (If you want more information about them, just google up Sesta and Fosta) has forced many huge sites to go mental with their censorship (recent Facebook's censorship changes, Tumblr's complete takedown of adult material, Twitter's extremely ban happy policy towards accounts containing adult material etc).

Reason for this is that these two laws in question are EXTREMELY confusing and seem to do more harm than actual good. For websites and platforms it's easier to just deny than to allow and possibly risk some serious consequences because of it.

Before these two laws came into action, website and it's owner(s) were not liable from the user's actions on their site.

These laws have completely changed things. Let us give you an example:
Someone registers to our site and advertises sexual services he/she is selling. Back in the day we could have just removed that comment in case we would not have noticed it but were by authorities.
Now, we are just as guilty as they would be no matter did we know about that content on our site or not. We became aware of these laws and the possible problems they cause just recently.

Now what are we going to do about it you ask?
First of all, we are here to stay.
We simply have to filter out, monitor and make sure that NO SUCH CONTENT exists on our site, no matter what. This isn't ideal and this is restrictive for freedom of speech as we have to put certain filters on place which could cause false positives, but we really don't have a choice if we are here to stay in long term.

Today we are going to pause everything else we've been working on and get this done immediately to ensure the future for our platform, we can't press how hugely important this is and it can't wait.
We will also create an easy reporting system which will allow users to report posts directly from the post itself if they suspect that material posted on the site should not be here.

So, extremely important:
- DO NOT OFFER ANY KIND OF ESCORT, MASSAGE OR ANY OTHER KIND OF PAID SERVICES
- Do NOT post material which is mentioned in our Terms of service under any circumstances.

Thank you for reading!

EDIT: To clarify. We are NOT shutting down. Adult and porn content is of course welcomed just like it is right now :). Just keep it on material which does not break any laws and do not offer services escort, nor paid services of any kind) and everything's well!

Update 3 9th December 2018

First of all we want to thank everyone for their patience and all those kind words we have gotten as feedback. You people are awesome! It really motivates us to push even harder and have more sleepless nights (and days) while we work to get everything running smoothly.

Yes, there is still some various bugs unfortunately and thanks to your feedback during the last 6 days we have been able to fix plenty already. There is much left to do, we know. But we won't rest until site is polished up and all the promised features are running :).

At the moment there is bit of a queue when it comes to support, we're trying to prioritize the most pressing matters but we will get back to everyone (as long as your email address is correct, there are some cases when we have tried to answer but the email has bounced back so if you have not heard from us for few days, please write again and check your email address)

So, once again. Thank you for being here!

Update 2 9th December 2018

Customization: Default theme starts to be in order, another themes will be fixed soon as well. If you're having problems, switch to default, click save and view your blog again. Others will be fixed in the next 24 hours.

Update 9th December 2018

Quick update for today so far. We're fixing many small bugs and glitches here and there in the platform. Also securing the data saving space by adding CDN for our network. We have yet another huge traffic spike today so we decided to plan for the future and get it done now so it wouldn't cause problems down the road.

Update 2 8th December 2018

Blog customization is updated and most of the bugs fixed. We published a bit more updated version than what it was. Background images and all the colors now actually take effect.

And we know plenty of you are eager to get that tumblr importer, no we have not given up. Determined to get it done!

Update 8th December 2018

We finally removed the last parts of caching from the frontpage's content feed, so no more double posts or missed posts in your feed!

Most notable fixes today:
- "Ask" button in personal blogs renamed to "Chat" (this was causing lots of confusion as it is actually a private chat) - Fixed cases where original original comment was not seen in reblogs even if reblogger didn't remove it.
- Reblogging in likes fixed
- Text post reblogging working properly again
- Tag links with simple tag search (posts with similar tags) is back (was disabled during the traffic spike for performance improvements)
- Text posts can be reblogged again. Please drop us a line via contact form if you're still having any kind of issues with them

We're currently going through all the small and not so small issues on the site and fixing them as soon as possible.

- We will drop regular updates as things advance
- Tumblr importer still in the works

Note!
In case you see something you think is should be reported, please drop us a line via our support form. We react immediately to the content which should not be here (we have already banned few accounts posting content from minors). We will be extremely responsive removing material and blogs which are posting illegal material / material which is not allowed and mentioned as such in our TOS.

Update 3 7th December 2018

From now on we're going to give a little summary about the biggest fixes we have done during the day (ok, today we have been crushing bugs only in the past few hours when we could properly get started with it)

Most notable fixes:
- Audio posts working again
- Multiple fixes for text posts in cases they caused a temporary crash to some users
- Notes added to public blogs (username.bdsmlr.com)
- Customization was crashing completely for some users, fixed (Rest of the problems with customization will be fixed during Saturday)
- Broken avatars in suggestions (on desktop view) fixed
- Tag editor didn't load properly in queue at times, fixed
- Editing image post comment and tags fixed

EDIT: Text posts can't be reblogged at the moment. We're investigating and fix it ASAP (Fixed 8th 12 2018)

Update 2 7th December 2018

We have been monitoring the performance and so far so good even though traffic is constantly rising we have much in the reserves now, so we should be able to handle the future growth in the near future as well. Of course servers are still in need of further optimizing and tweaking here and there based to monitoring so the site will be faster than what it is right now, but in overall site is starting to be responsive again.

That means we can now also start to concentrate into bug fixes and new features. Like promised, the tumblr importer will now get a lot more attention (we get tons of feedback about it daily and we understand, it's important). Although tumblr seems to have restricted the api and RSS access further, we will try to get it done in one way or the other other ASAP.

Update 7th December 2018

Good news! We're FINALLY starting to get performance under control. Site should be much more responsive from now on. We also temporarily disabled Like and Reblog notifications on dash scroll, but they will make a return soon later today!

We will monitor the performance for a while and after that start to concentrate to new stuff and bug fixes. We'll fix those most annoying ones up first and put our effort into import tool so you can bring your blog content from tumblr. Those are in priority. After that there be TONS of polishing, new features and functions coming up!

And thanks again for all the feedback you have been sending. It's truly appreciated. We're also bit slow on getting back to some of you via our support, but we will, promise :).

Update 2 6th December 2018

Just an update what's been happening tonight. We have added a lot more power for the server side, but our traffic has gone off the roof and continues to rise as well. So, we will continue our efforts to stabilize the site. Unfortunately this slows down the possibility to crunch bugs and polish the site, but first things first: Nobody likes a slow website. We will get there eventually though, so we hope you're staying around despite it :).

Update 6th December 2018

Yep, Site is getting busier and busier. Traffic is up mindboggling 10 x from yesterday and we're currently at works to add even more server power for the site.

Few words from known bugs and the most annoying bugs
- Blog customization does not save everything edited for some users. This will be the first bug fix we're going to work on immediately when we can.
- Editing is not working for some users for some post types. This will be addressed immediately when we can as well.

Next feature we're working to get online as soon as possible
- Import from tumblr is on the works. We would have have it online already if it were not to tumblr's very recent changes. Starting the day they made their announcement about adult content, they also made access to their rss and api much more difficult. We're looking for a workaround and will update immediately when we have some news!

Update 3 5th December 2018

One of the most asked features has been the ability to check out the notes and see (and view) the other likers and rebloggers in posts by clicking that note text in post. It's now enabled in the front page again. If there are notes, simply click the "Notes" text on the bottom left corner of that post. You can of course view everyone's blog as well by simply clicking it on the list. List is not yet scrollable though, we will be adding that function into it very soon.

Site (especially chat) starts to be much more responsive as well. We have worked pretty much endless hours these past few days to get things running more smoothly again and the results are starting to show.

Another feature which has been requested a lot has been the ability to import your blog from that ..well you know, other place which we hear has decided to remove porn starting 17th December and we're working on it. Can't give any time table though, but we try to get at least the ability to import your photo posts into Bdsmlr ASAP.

And once again many thanks for the awesome feedback to everyone who has sent it. We have gotten some GREAT ideas for the future features and we will be definitely bringing many of them into our site in the future!

Update 2 5th December 2018

So! quite the few days we've been having. Userbase has been tripled in 2 days and continues to grow, happy to see you all here!

We have just made huge changes to the serverside and will be optimizing it today, so there unfortunately can be some downtime and little glitches (as of writing this, image size limit which is normally 4 MB, is 2 MB at the moment but this will be fixed / is propably already fixed when you're reading this). Apologies we have to do this "on the fly", but we really don't have another option here at the moment.

We'd also like to thank you all from your feedback you have been sending us, please keep it coming. It's more than valuable so we know about the bugs and clitches, plus get information about what you'd like to see in the future!

Update 5th December 2018

We just made updates on the server side and will continue doing so until the performance gets where it should be. However site should be much more stabile and faster to use now. Had a little downtime as well, but everything back up again.

Update 4th December 2018

Few frequently asked questions about the usage of the site:
How do I send a private message to someone?
At the moment, if you're browsing with pc (Basically any non touch device) you can simply hover over the avatar image and click the "Speech bubble" icon in the pop-up.
On mobile go to user's personal blog and use the ASK function from the top bar in their blog. This will send them a private message (Yes we know, we could have thought this out bit better and we WILL update it to make more sense in the future)

Android App / iPhone App?
Please read further, but too long didn't read version: Android, in the future. iPhone, impossible for the time being (thanks to Apple)

Site is still slow you guys doing anything?
Yeppp, everything we can and then some. Our traffic is over 100x and raising as you read compared to what it was just a few days back at the moment. We're working on setting up more powerful database servers and web servers right now. We have also done tons of code optimization through monitoring the resource use but it can only take things to a certain point. After we get more powerful servers online things will get better!

We know. Site is slow at times, apologies about that. This is due to a HUGE traffic spike we have at the moment and we are in the process of adding more horsepower into the engine room to get things working smoothly again.

We hope to get things normalized in no time!

That being said, welcome!
Our site is still quite new and constantly developing. If you find something which is not working as it should, please drop us a line about the problem via our support form and we promise we will look into it ASAP.

If you're wondering what kind of content is allowed here (something we have been asked quite the few times already today), the answer is everything that is LEGAL and is not SPAM. That's basically it, feel free to post anything else you'd like. The more detailed version about the content we will not allow can be found from our TOS here

Is there an App for Android / Apple devices?
Unfortunately the answer is no. Biggest reason why we have not done them is that neither Google or Apple allows Apps with adult content into their stores. However there is a workaround for Android and we will be developing an App for Android devices, unfortunately for iOs this is impossible for the time being.

Coming soon
Better search functions and tagging system are next on the list to get an update. At the moment you are able to add tags to your posts, but they do not lead to relative tags list even if you click them. This will be updated as soon as we can get back to development (after we get the site to run smoothly with the traffic we have been receiving).

Starting 4th December 2018 we have enabled SSL (https instead of http) for all blogs and pages!

We will also continuously develop the site further and add new features and functions. If you have suggestions, please get in contact via our support form via our support form

Most of the menus on the sidebar can be found under the top menu user icon (that little human being icon. Yep, click on it and you will find the menu). If you want to customize your blog, upload avatar, cover photo, change the look or do other changes to your blog, you can do that by clicking the "Customize" link in that menu.
Once again, If you have problems or feedback please don't hesitate to contact us via contact page. We're happy to help!
